Sandstone (ᓯᐅᕋᑦ ᐅᔭᖃᑦ)

Sandstone (ᓯᐅᕋᑦ): layers (beds) of sand-size grains, often coarse sand defines base of each bed, gradually changing to fine sand at top of each bed.

Sandstone (ᓯᐅᕋᑦ): layers (beds) of sand-size grains, with laminar (straight) and cross-stratification and grading (coarse sand at base to fine sand/silt at top of each bed).

Graded sandstone bed: coarse sand gradually changing to fine sand within one bed. (ᓯᐅᕋᑦ ᓵᓐᓂᖅᓴᑦ)

Sandstone: ungraded with laminar (straight) stratification. (ᐳᖅᑐᓯᓯᒪᔪᑦ ᓯᐅᕋᑦ ᑎᓯᒃᑎᓯᒪᔪᑦ)
